The December 2010 US new-vehicle retail sales pace is significantly beating expectations, according to new data from J.D. Power and Associates. December 2010 new-vehicle retail sales are expected to come in at 936,300 units, which represents a seasonally adjusted annualized rate (SAAR) of 10.8 million units. This represents a 19% increase from a SAAR of 9.3 million units one year ago.
